Today is Google's 25th anniversary and the company is giving it its all.

First founded in 1998, Google celebrates its quarter-century on Wednesday and several of its products, including search, buzz to search and translation, will have eggs Easter specifically marks the anniversary.

To find them, simply search, hum or translate "happy birthday" across Google properties on Wednesday, and confetti will fall like rain on Google's screen.

Google also created a special Google Doodle for its birthday, a temporary modification of the regular Google logo that the search engine creates for various holidays, events, or to honor personality.

Google Anniversary Doodle pays homage to the evolution of the Google logo, from the first logo to the current version, with a special 25th anniversary logo at the end.

When is Google's birthday?

Google was founded on September 4, 1998, but the company began celebrating its anniversary on September 27, 2005 after announcing that it would eliminate the way it indexes pages.

What was the first Google Doodle?

The first Google Doodle appeared shortly after Google. It's simple: a humanoid stuck on the search engine's logo in 1998, when co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin took time off from work to attend Burning Man.

Since then, more than 5,000 unique Google Doodles have been created, from Valentine's Day to cake birthdays in 2011. Today, a group of engineers and illustrators, known as doodles doodle, responsible for many different Google Doodles.
